Sony reveals two new DualSense colours, available next month

The first set of new official colour options for Sony‘s DualSense controller have been revealed.

Named Midnight Black and Cosmic Red (because “Black” and “Red” just wouldn’t be fancy enough), these two versions change the white portion on a standard DualSense controller.

A few close-up shots of each colour are available via Twitter, along with a reveal trailer. According to Leo Cardoso from Sony’s design team, they “designed the colors around the theme of ‘galaxy’ as it felt like a natural progression from the original PS5 and accessories designs.”

Both controllers will be available globally from June, though dates will vary based on each region.

Now that Sony is starting to release new controller colours, some console faceplates would be welcome too — especially if it’s stopping other companies release them.
