Spelunker HD Deluxe includes all content from the original PS3 release with a fresh coat of paint and an extra mode. The game still involves exploring many caves as a rather fragile explorer looking for treasure, but now you’ll be able to die in HD!
All modes, including the new randomly generated “Endless Cave NEO”, can be played with others — online supports six players, two less for offline play.
Pre-orders for physical copies of the game will open on June 6 via the Strictly Limited Games website. Regular copies will cost 29.99€, limited to 2700 copies for Switch and 1500 copies for PS4.
Meanwhile, the 59.99€ Collector’s Edition — containing a figure and other physical goodies — is limited to 1300 copies for Switch and 700 copies for PS4.
A digital release for Spelunker HD Deluxe is also planned by ININ Games on both Switch and PS4, which will release Q3 2021. The physical versions should launch around the same time as well.
