Square Enix, Bandai Namco and more confirmed for E3 2021

The Entertainment Software Association has revealed another batch of companies that will be attending E3 2021.

There are a lot of familiar names in the list, including Square Enix, Sega, Bandai Namco and XSEED Games.

Square Enix could potentially have some new reveals for their upcoming projects — fresh Final Fantasy XVI gameplay would be nice.

Bandai Namco is another to watch, since we’re still waiting on more news for Elden Ring, which has mostly been silent since the initial teaser.

Phantasy Star Online : New Genesis should end up with a set release date during E3, if it doesn’t already have one by then — it currently has a June 2021 release window.

Finally, XSEED Games might end up showing their final mystery game for this year (assuming that one of them turned out to be Shadowverse: Champion’s Battle). A release date announcement for Rune Factory 5 in English might also be on the cards, with the game launching in Japan this month.

This year’s expo is finally starting to build a decent line-up. The potential for big reveals (especially more Elden Ring news) does at least give some hope for a good event, even with it moving online this year.
