Sticks: Sonic Boom’s New Character
SEGA is pleased to welcome a brand new energetic character that will soon become a member of the Sonic Boom platforms, such as within the TV series, merchandise, and the new games soon to be released on both Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. This franchise is set to be developed in the west alongside the more traditional Sonic games that will continue to come out of Japan.
Sticks – the quirky and funny jungle badger – joins Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy to form the main characters featured throughout the new Sonic Boom franchise.
Sticks’ wild, hyper, and over the top characteristics gives a new found love for the Sonic fanbase, as it brings a comedic view for the children. Her eccentric character adds an endless amount of humour and surprise to the Sonic team. As a sweet girl she has a kind heart and a desire to get closer to her new-found friends.
Although she seems as sweet as Cream the lovable rabbit she’s a tenacious hunter who’s armed with handmade weapons at all times. For example her boomerang, which is wrapped in what look like bandages.
As we have seen so far, Sticks’ instincts often proven accurate, meaning that her unparalleled animal instincts and extremely sharp survival skills will often come into good use for the team.
