Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin 3rd demo now available

Square Enix has released a final demo for Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, letting players experience the opening chapters of the game.

This demo, unlike the previous two, includes all story content from the first three stages of Stranger of Paradise, along with some additional jobs. Progress from the demo will also be transferrable to the full release.

Co-op play returns too, though cross-play is limited to console families (PS4/PS5 and Xbox One/Xbox Series cannot play together).

Final Fantasy XIV players should recognise one of the areas found in this demo, with Pravoka Seagrot bearing a resemblance to the dungeon Sastasha — the area’s description even mentions “Dimension 14” and villainous pirates.

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin launches March 18, 2022 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via the Epic Games Store. Pre-orders for the digital console versions come with three days of early access, with only a one day head start for PC.
