Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin launching March 2022, 2nd demo out now
Square Enix has announced that Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin will launch for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via the Epic Games Store on March 18, 2022.
Additionally, a second trial version has been released for both PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, available until October 11. It includes content from the first trial, along with a new area and multiplayer support. Another survey has been started for the second trial, allowing players to leave feedback that will be considered for the final release.
A Digital Deluxe Edition was also announced, revealing that Stranger of Paradise will be getting three additional missions as DLC. These are available as part of the game’s Season Pass, which is included in the Digital Deluxe Edition.
The first trial left Rice Digital writer Conor optimistic for the full game, despite the seemingly generic protagonist.
