Street Fighter 6 Elena DLC launching June 5 alongside Switch 2 version

Capcom has finally announced a release date for the Street Fighter 6 Elena DLC, and it now makes a lot more sense as to why it’s taken this long. Releasing 5 June 2025, Elena joins the Street Fighter 6 roster at the same time as the Switch 2 and Years 1-2 Fighters Edition launch.

First introduced in Street Fighter III, Elena looks to be making use of capoeira once again as part of her fighting style. However, we’ll have to wait until more information is revealed closer to launch — the reveal trailer is just her World Tour introduction, rather than proper gameplay.

While you can purchase the Street Fighter 6 Elena DLC separately, it’s also part of the Year 2 Character Pass. She’s the last addition for this set of characters, joining another returner M. Bison, along with SNK’s Terry and Mai.
