Suikoden II anime adaption announced

Ahead of the release of Suikoden I&II HD Remaster, Konami’s Suikoden Live broadcast revealed a few new projects for the franchise.

One of these is Suikoden: The Anime which is now currently under production by Konami Animation Studio. Despite the name, Suikoden: The Anime is actually an adaption of Suikoden II rather than the first game. Current Suikoden producer Rui Naito stated that it’s just “one way of showing the story”, despited to “keep the greatness of the original story” created by the late Yoshitaka Murayama.

There currently are no details outside of this initial reveal, though everything points to this adaption getting an English version whenever it releases.
