Super Robot Wars Y demo out on PS5, Switch

A demo is now available for mecha crossover SRPG Super Robot Wars Y, covering the game’s first chapter.

Available for PS5 and Switch (no PC demo at unfortunately), the Super Robot Wars Y demo lets you experience the early moments of the story as characters across multiple franchises join forces. You’ve got characters and mechs from Mobile Suit Gundam, Code Geass, SSSS.Dynazenon and more.

On top of the base roster, additional characters are set join in future DLC packs (available separately and part of the digital Deluxe and Ultimate Editions.)

Completing the demo on PS5 and Switch will net you additional rewards — no news on what these actually are — with PC players getting the same items at launch. Save data from the demo, including all resources acquired, transfers over to the full release.

Super Robot Wars Y launches August 28, 2025 for PS5, Switch, and PC via Steam.
