Pokémon Masters adds Sword and Shield protagonist Gloria this month

Pokémon Sword and Shield‘s female protagonist Gloria makes her debut in Pokémon Masters on November 29.

She’ll be paired with legendary Pokémon Zacian, which has its own Masters exclusive move.

Unlike Sword and Shield, Pokémon Masters has voice acting, making this the first time Gloria has been voiced in English and Japanese.

Despite the many fan videos online portraying her with a heavy Scottish accent, she’s actually ended up with a relatively posh British one instead. Somewhat odd considering that she lives in the equivalent of a northern English town, but it’s certainly not the worst British accent we’ve heard.

There’ll also be a few rewards for players to celebrate Gloria’s arrival. This includes free premium currency and gacha tickets.

The Pokémon Masters Twitter account mentions that another ‘highly anticipated sync pair‘ will be revealed on December 20. It seems like the most likely candidate is N from Pokémon Black and White, though there are a few other characters being requested in the replies.
