SWORL pre-orders open, offering a new take on leverless controllers
Junk Food Custom Arcades has opened up pre-orders for the SWORL, a unique take on leveless controllers that should give players lots of options for more than just fighting games.
The SWORL features PC keys on the left (using MX switches that can be changed out), buttons similar to other leverless controllers on the right, and two separate “thumb domes” that can emulate analog stick input.
It’s a unique combo of inputs, and one that can be configured to work with any game. The Junk Food Custom Arcades YouTube channel has a number of videos up testing the SWORL out in a range of games, from Street Fighter to Elden Ring.
There are two variants up for pre-order — a cheaper PC/Switch version, and one that also includes PS5 and Xbox Series compatibility. Both are intended to release between early February-March 2025. Note that the usual VAT and import fees will apply if ordering from the UK.
