Tales of Arise launches September 10, also coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S

Bandai Namco has revealed via Famitsu that Tales of Arise will release on September 9 in Japan. Current gen versions were also announced, with the game now coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S alongside PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.

While the initial announcement was for the Japanese version of Tales of Arise, it’ll be also launching worldwide on September 10, with Twitter user @Rayan925FR sharing images of four different editions for the game. These include various different physical and digital items, such as costumes and a steelbook case.

To coincide with the release date reveal, Bandai Namco has also shared a lot of new screenshots and footage for the game. It’s the most we’ve seen for this latest Tales entry since it was initially announced, showing off more of the game’s combat and exploration.

Also confirmed was the return of Ufotable, which will be handling Arise’s animated opening and cutscenes.

Tales of Arise looks to be an interesting addition to the series, so it’s good to finally get a release date and lots of new info. Expect an official English announcement soon, plus more gameplay and screenshots over the coming months.
