Tales of Arise surpasses 1 million copies sold

Bandai Namco revealed today that Tales of Arise has already managed to surpass 1 million units sold.

This is an incredibly impressive number for the latest Tales entry, and it’s only been a week since launch. At this pace, it could beat Tales of Symphonia as the best selling game in the franchise — according to sales numbers released earlier in the year, Symphonia has sold roughly 2.4 million copies worldwide.

Bandai Namco also went on to announce that the Tales series as a whole has reached over 25 million copies sold worldwide. Tales of Arise is a great game (and seems to be doing well in the west), so it wouldn’t be surprising to see the series reach 30 million sales within the next game or two.
