Tales of Arise x Sword Art Online crossover DLC announced

Sword Art Online’s Kirito and Asuna will head to the arena in Tales of Arise on October 7, 2021 via a new DLC pack, Bandai Namco has announced.

The Sword Art Online Collaboration Pack includes the aforementioned arena fight against two opponents from another world, alongside some new cosmetics and an exclusive Mystic Arte. Alphen gets a Kirito themed outfit (plus his swords), Eugeo for Law, and Asuna for Shionne.

Bandai Namco handles most of the official Sword Art Online games, so this crossover isn’t too strange. Other IPs from the developer were also featured in Tales of Arise via DLC at launch, though nothing as elaborate as this upcoming pack.
