Tales of Symphonia Unisonant Pack revealed

Thankfully, it’s going to be renamed Tales of Symphonia: Chronicles HD for a Western release. In a somwhat unprecedented move Namco Bandai took the liberty of not just revealing the game – but also the fact that the US and Europe would be getting their localisations as well!

If you need cast iron proof – here’s a video Hideo Baba telling us to our faces – that it will be coming in early ‘2014’.

As you can tell – this news excites me greatly. There’s a very good reason for this. Tales of Symphonia, originally for the Gamecube, is considered by many (and I count myself among them) as the best in the Tales series.

That, on it’s own, is enough to make me interested in an HD remake – but Namco are going a step further and adding the Wii sequel Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World into the same package!

Suffice to say – two massive RPG’s back to back, with a little HD rework, offers a remarkable value in one package – and seeing as I never played Dawn of the New World, will give me plenty of incentive to pick this up.

The reason for this astounding generosity of Namco’s part? Well, it’s the 10th Anniversary of Symphonia on Gamecube – which has the added benefit of making me feel rather old! 🙂

If you never played either of these games – take a look at the trailer to see what all the fuss is about.

Spread the love!
