2D platformer Tanuki Justice getting physical Switch release in Europe

PixelHeart and Just For Games are teaming up to distribute physical copies of Wonderboy Bobi‘s Switch retro-style platformer Tanuki Justice in Europe.

Already available digitally via the Nintendo eShop, Tanuki Justice is another indie platformer that aims to capture the feel of retro games from the NES era.

Pre-orders are now available via PixelHeart’s store, priced at 29.90€. It’s limited to 20,000 copies — though this isn’t particularly scarce when compared to other limited run releases — with the release date scheduled for the first quarter of 2021.

Tanuki Justice is actually the second platformer by developer Wonderboy Bobi, having previously released Aggelos a few years back.

Fans of 2D platformers should also take a look at Kitsune Tails, another game themed around Japanese mythology.
