Tekken 7 Release Date Possibly Leaked on Steam
We’re very much looking forward to Tekken 7, as is just about everyone else who enjoys video games and/or punching and/or kicking other people. The fighting itself is much perfected, as we mentioned in our preview. Usually we’ve been given “Early 2017” as a date for its release, but the Tekken 7 release date may have been leaked.
Yep, this image of the product on Steam says it will released 24th February 2017, according to PVP Live, which is pretty soon. This has since been changed to “Early 2017”. Could we expect the game to launch on that date, then? Well, Brand & Community Advisor on Tekken 7, Mark Julio, warns against getting too hyped.
Placeholder. Release date has not been announced yet. Thanks for your patience! More info, soon! #TeamTEKKEN https://t.co/8ohrRxqJI4

But there’s no smoke without fire. Even if the game doesn’t release on that date, it’s likely it was floated around at some point as a release date for the game. Bandai Namco have been pretty vague about an exact release date for some time, and you can be sure it’s because they’re tweaking the game to be just the way they want it to be.
If it arrives later that’s fine by us. If it sticks a perfect release date landing, it could be the next biggest fighter for some time.
Tekken 7 will release “Early 2017” on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
