Tekken 8 Season 2 opens with the return of Anna Williams

Bandai Namco has revealed the first details for Tekken 8 Season 2, starting with the announcement of Anna Williams as its first DLC character.

Tekken 8 Season 2 kicks off on April 1, 2025 when Anna Williams joins the game as part of both the Season 2 Character & Stage Pass, and Character Pass 2. For anyone wanting to buy her separately, they’ll have to wait until April 4.

This iteration of Anna brings with her a new look, a new title as the “Scarlet Lightning”, and her very own bazooka which can be used to extend combos or fight at a distance.

3 more characters and 2 stages are planned for Season 2, and all should be released by winter if everything goes to plan. The gameplay trailer doesn’t give any teasers for who the next characters might be — should we expect another crossover character like Final Fantasy XVI’s Clive?
