The Evil Within 2 New 5-Minute Gameplay Video

When The Evil Within was originally announced everyone was excited. The game was heavily inspired by the excellent Resident Evil 4 and made by non-other than Shinji Mikami. While it had its ups and downs it was generally a solid experience that kept you at the edge of your seat. As we slowly approach the release of the sequel we get more glimpses into the nightmares that are waiting.

Bethesda released a new 5-minute video showing off beta gameplay footage of The Evil Within 2. It very much looks like what you have come to expect. In the video Sebastian explores a creepy room filled with countless hanged people. After encountering a mysterious photographer, the eerie atmosphere quickly turns into something much more tense as you are pursued by a crazy buzzsaw wielding monstrosity.

The Evil Within will arrive on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Naturally the released date will be on Friday the 13th this October.

Until then enjoy the latest gameplay video of this terrifying horror title bellow.

A breathless chase down a hallway. Echoing laughter and the whirring of a sawblade dogging your steps. If you’re brave enough to look behind you, you’ll see the maelstrom of body parts that make up the monstrous creature known as Guardian. Aside from a handful of brief glimpses in trailers, the recent hands-on demo for The Evil Within 2 was our first real up-close-and-personal encounter with Guardian.
