Tokyo Game Show will feature three Nier announcements
It appears those predicting we’d hear more about Nier Replicant at this year’s Tokyo Game Show were spot on. But that’s just the start, as Square Enix has announced there’ll be a grand total of three announcements related to the franchise in an upcoming Nier livestream.
This information was released via the official Nier Twitter account. The stream, amusingly dubbed the “We have a decent amount of new info” special, will cover Nier Replicant, Nier Automata and the mobile game Nier Reincarnation, and will take place at 2pm BST on September 24th, the second day of the show.
It’s likely the Nier Automata update concerns the game coming to the soon-to-be-released next-gen consoles, but the other two are a bit more of a mystery. We’ve had trailers for both titles (although Replicant’s was just a teaser) already, so hopefully at the Tokyo Game Show there’ll be more gameplay shown, and if we’re lucky, some release dates.
