Touhou Genso Wanderer: Foresight gets PS4 and Switch versions this September

Touhou dungeon crawler Touhou Genso Wanderer: Foresight is coming to more platforms after its initial release earlier this year.

First launching for PC via Steam during May 2024, Touhou Genso Wanderer: Foresight will now come to PS4 and Nintendo Switch on September 18, 2024.

While Foresight is not the first game in the Touhou Genso Wanderer franchise to come to either platform, it is the first wholly new entry — the previous games that the came to the west were remakes of earlier entries.

Touhou Genso Wanderer: Foresight sees Reimu losing a fight against a mysterious opponent, stripping her of all collected gear and even her memories. She must work together with other familiar Touhou character to become stronger, fix up her shrine, and figure out what opponent she was initially facing.

Unlike previous entries, levels are carried over between dungeon runs, and gear improvement has been simplified. You also gain access to meta progression in the form of skill trees, with more unlocking as you meet new characters.
