The Legend of Heroes: Trails beyond the Horizon announced for Autumn 2025

Never thought we’d see the day, but it looks like the Trails series in the west may soon be caught up with the Japanese release. After its English title leaked earlier this week, NIS America has officially confirmed that The Legend of Heroes: Trails beyond the Horizon is coming west during Autumn 2025 for PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails beyond the Horizon sees the return of Van Arkride (along with a slew of familiar faces) as they fight for the future of Zemuria. Stories from across the Trails series will converge as the franchise enters its final chapter.

As with many of the climactic entries for each arc of Trails, you’ll have a lot of characters to choose from in The Legend of Heroes: Trails beyond the Horizon. While the characters you have access to will often be dictated by the story, the Grim Garten dungeon allows you to craft your own custom parties.

With Trails in the Sky FC Remake having the same release window, it’s looking like Autumn 2025 is going to be a busy time of the year for Trails fans. This also means that the English releases will finally catch up (though there’s no doubt a new game on the horizon soon).
