Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter remake demo now available, Switch 2 release confirmed

It’s all hands on deck ahead of next month’s release of Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter, with GungHo and Falcom both releasing a demo and confirming that the game is also coming to Switch 2.

The demo is available now on PS5 and PC, with one for Switch coming soon in the west (the Japanese Switch demo is out already.) It covers the prologue, giving you a chance to check out around 5-or-so hours of the Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter remake.

In addition, a Switch 2 version is confirmed alongside the already announced PS5, Switch, and PC versions. There wont be a physical release for this, though owners on Switch can upgrade to the Switch 2 version for $1. As you’d expect, the Switch 2 version of Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter includes improved visuals over Switch.
