Trails through Daybreak II officially announced for early 2025
After initially leaking via the PlayStation 5 dashboard, NIS America has officially announced that Trails through Daybreak II is coming west early 2025.
Originally launching in Japan during 2022, Trails through Daybreak II is a direct sequel featuring the main cast from the first Daybreak. The western release will be available on PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. We wouldn’t recommend watching the trailer or checking the Steam page if you haven’t finished Daybreak due to spoilers.
A Limited Edition is currently available for pre-order via the American NISA store (the European store currently has no versions of Daybreak II for sale.) The Limited Edition includes the usual artbook (plus art cards), soundtrack CD, and Steelbook, along with a physical atlas of Calvard.
While still a few years behind the Japanese release for The Legend of Heroes, the release of Trails through Daybreak II only puts the west one game behind — Kai no Kiseki launches September 2024 in Japan.
