Until recently, the Trails series was missing two major entries in English — the Crossbell duology, Trails from Zero and Trails to Azure. But now, thanks to the folks at The Geofront, translations for both now exist that rival official English Trails releases.
However, there is one small caveat to this exciting news. Trails to Azure’s PC port was handled by the Chinese company Joyoland, which for the longest time meant that buying digital copies was difficult for those of us in the west. Thankfully, PayPal is now useable as a payment option on Joyoland’s website, making the process a little easier.
These fan translations are likely going to be the best way to play both Zero and Azure, since official English releases seem unlikely at this point. If NIS America plan to continue working on the Trails series, it’s more likely to focus on Hajimari no Kiseki (and potentially Kuro no Kiseki) over these older titles.
