Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth New Features Trailer Released
Atlus has released a trailer for Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth which covers all the sequel’s new features, including extra game modes and additional types of attack you can pull off in battles! The combat really appears to be stepping up a notch from Mask of Deception! Take a look at the new trailer below:
As well as having a lot more story battles, Mask of Truth introduces two new game modes. These are the Red vs White mock battle mode, which can be used to gain extra experience and BP, and Munechika’s Trials, a series of tough challenges to test your military aptitude.
The very way you fight will be seeing some changes too, with an updated battle system. Certain characters will be able to team up to deal extra damage with Co-op Chain and Co-op Final attacks, so where you place your units will be more important than ever! There will also be a higher level cap and new, extended Action Chains you can use to gain the upper hand and secure victory.
Utawarerumono‘s battles are one of its strong points, so an extra bit of polish to the system is an exciting concept! It’ll be good to see it come back even stronger for the end of the story!
Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth releases on September 5th for PS4 and PS Vita.
