As a collaboration between Hololive and virtual concert platform VARK, Cinderella Switch vol.5 can be viewed in VR via the Oculus Quest and Oculus Quest 2 — though it’s also possible to view the concert using a smartphone, or online via Niconico.
This time, Shirakami Fubuki and Ookami Mio will be taking the stage. As with previous performances, the concert is split into two parts, priced at roughly $43/€35 each in the VARK app, and $33/€28 on Niconico.
Buying both parts together will be slightly cheaper overall, with the additional bonus of a backstage conversation between the two vtubers post-concert.
Cinderella Switch is an interesting way to present these events outside of just a typical video online, letting you stand alongside some of your favourite vtubers. Maybe one day, the English generations of Hololive will get their own concerts too.
