Wild Hearts S demo now available for Switch 2

Koei Tecmo has released a demo for Wild Hearts S, the Nintendo Switch 2 version of its monster hunting action game.

The Wild Hearts S demo features the game’s early story content, including character creation and fights against a handful of Kemono (Wild Hearts’s giant monsters). All progress made during the demo can be transferred to the full version once it releases July 25, 2025.

In addition, the demo for Wild Hearts S not only supports multiplayer between demo players, but also those with the full version of the game. However, unlike the previously released PC, PS5, and Xbox Series versions, Wild Hearts S does not feature cross-platform online.

Wild Hearts is an interesting take on the hunting genre, and one that we’ve talked about in the past regarding how well it handles progression across each map. Hopefully it manages to see a new lease of life on Switch 2, or even a sequel later down the line.
