World Flipper global launches September 8

Kakao Games and Cygames have announced that the free-to-play pinball RPG World Flipper will release in the west on September 8, 2021 for Android and iOS.

World Flipper is a mix of RPG character building, pinball gameplay, and retro-style visuals. While it might be a bit of an odd combination, the simple battle system seems like a good fit for mobile.

By pre-registering via the official website, you’ll get some premium currency and the 40-star character Arisa — this is the same Arisa seen in Shadowverse, another Cygames title.

Mobile gacha releases don’t seem to have slowed down during 2021, with Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage having just been announced for a global launch later this year. Of course, it remains to be seen which games will manage to survive for a decent amount of time.
