Xenoblade Chronicles 3 now releasing July 2022
Nintendo has announced that Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will now be releasing for Switch worldwide on July 29, 2022.
This puts it two months ahead of the initial September 2022 release window, bucking the trend of games being heavily delayed over the last few years.
Accompanying the news is a new gameplay trailer, which features our first real look at Xenoblade Chronicles 3’s battle system. It’s now possible to take up to seven party members into battle at once, with tag-team pairs having the ability to combine into a giant Ouroboros form.
Nintendo also revealed that Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will receive a physical Collector’s Edition via the My Nintendo Store (though it’s currently not available to buy). The Collector’s Edition includes a hardcover artbook and steel case.
