Yakuza 5 to release Westward mid-November
SEGA has announced that Yakuza 5 is on track to release in both Europe and North America in mid-November if everything continues as planned.
SEGA has stated that there have been some localisation problems concerning the Japanese text that wouldn’t switch out for English, and that they had to dig through the source code to be able to change it which took more time than expected. You can read more about it in their blog post where they also recommend 5 movies to get you in the mood for the release. I’m glad to hear that SEGA are taking the time to polish Yakuza 5 though as I’m incredibly excited for it!
SEGA previously announced that Yakuza 5 would come with all of the Japanese DLC included for free and it seems to be near release whether or not the mid-November date is met, and it’s about time!
