Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade receives price drop, new story content after loss of publisher

It’s been a tumultuous few weeks for developer 7QUARK’s roguelite Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade. Having released only a few weeks ago, it’s been hit with mixed player reviews and even a loss of its publisher.

Citing “recent public controversies” regarding publisher Game Source Entertainment, 7QUARK is now the sole owner of Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade. This change comes with a reduced price of $13.99, along with some additional content to Taketora’s story.

One of the main reasons behind Yasha’s current mixed reviews is due to how Taketora’s story ends, with Version 1.0.5 seemingly being a response to this. He now has a hidden ending, which can be viewed under “specific conditions”.

In our review, we mentioned that Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade lacked the re-playability of other roguelites. While these current updates are unlikely to change this, it sounds like 7QUARK are planning to improve this in future updates with more variety and weapon choices.
