Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga gets new October release date

After an initial delay from summer 2025, refint/games has announced that Ys vs Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga will now launch on October 10, 2025. In addition, the company also confirmed that a physical Limited Edition is planned at a later date via Limited Run Games.

Ys vs Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga originally released for the PSP in 2010, with this remaster being the first time it’s been released officially in English. The game features a number of playable characters from Ys (primarily Ys Seven) and Trails in the Sky (plus Lloyd.)

This version of Ys vs Trails in the Sky includes remastered visuals with support for 4k60, online play with rollback netcode, and a new English dub. It will be available on PS4, Switch, and PC.
