Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga western release gets summer 2025 release window

Refint/games’s upcoming ports of PSP arena fighter Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga now have a summer 2025 release window. This announcement comes alongside a new trailer, showcasing the game’s playable roster of characters across Ys and Trails.

The Ys side of the roster is made up of characters primarily from Ys Seven, with the Trails side taking characters from the Sky games (plus a certain leader from the S.S.S). There are also a number of extra appearances from both series — along with cameos from other Falcom franchises — via support characters.

Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga will launch on PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC. All versions of the game include 4 player online with rollback netcode, and a full English dub with most voice actors making their return.
