Ys X: Proud Nordics western release set for early 2026

Western Falcom fans are eating good over the next year, with NISA confirming that Ys X: Proud Nordics is heading over early 2026.

Releasing during the same window as Trails Beyond the Horizon, Ys X: Proud Nordics is an enhanced version of the original 2023 title. Only releasing on Switch 2 and PC for now, Proud Nordics brings with it now content — including a major side story in the form of Öland Island — and improved visuals on the Switch 2 side.

Pre-orders for the physical (game-key card) edition are up on the NISA Europe website. Expect digital pre-orders to go up closer to launch. It’s also worth noting that the version of Ys X: Proud Nordics that is currently up on Steam is separate from this release and includes no English support.
