Yume Nikki Dream Diary Releasing for PC in February

Kadokawa have now fully announced Yume Nikki Dream Diary, a follow-up to the original cult classic. It’s a sequel that will be coming to PCs via Steam on 23rd February 2018, and will include a swathe of language options, including Japanese and English. It’ll launch at 1980 yen (about £13). There’s also some key art and screenshots, so take a look!

Moving forward from the low-key pixel art style of the original, Yume Nikki Dream Diary looks higher budget, with 3D environments of Madotsuki’s flat, as well as the dream environments.

At a glance it’s still not entirely clear if this is a remake, or more of a sequel.

The release date for the Japanese version is confirmed as 23rd February 2018 for PC through Steam.

While it’s been confirmed there will be multiple language options, it’s not been made explicitly clear that it’ll release worldwide on that date — but here’s hoping!

Spread the love!
