Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age is Coming West
Square Enix has announced that Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age will be headed West sometime next year. Platforms have yet to be announced, but it’ll likely release on PS4, Switch and 3DS as those are the platforms that it’s releasing on in Japan later this year.
Enjoy the video below where game designer Yuji Horii breaks the news of the game’s localisation plans, and confirms that the game will be translated into five other languages including English. Remember to turn on closed captions!
So that’s it. There was very little doubt that we wouldn’t see a Dragon Quest XI Western announcement, but it’s very reassuring to have confirmation none-the-less. I’m sure many fans are ecstatic at the news, and I know I am! Yay!
