Visual Novel Kimi ga Nozomu Eien getting English localisation after nearly 20 years

Developer and publisher aNCHOR have announced that the visual novel Kimi ga Nozomu Eien — or Kiminozo for short — will be receiving an English localisation some time in the future.

This comes nearly 20 years after the game’s original PC release in Japan, all the way back in 2001.

Though this may be the first time that any version of the Kiminozo visual novel is getting released in English, its anime adaption was actually localised some time ago, under the name Rumbling Hearts. This isn’t that unusual, as it’s usually easier to work on a relatively short anime series, compared to a lengthy visual novel.

Kimi ga Nozomu Eien Poll

No exact date, or even a specific time frame, was given for the English version of Kimi ga Nozomu Eien, though aNCHOR did share the results of a poll that led to the game being chosen for localisation. It had a decent lead over the other potential choices, which included multiple Muv-Luv titles.
