Hyperdimension Neptunia: Sisters vs. Sisters announced, launching April 2022 in Japan
Compile Heart has revealed Hyperdimenion Neptunia: Sisters vs. Sisters, a new entry in the franchise for PS4 and PS5.
Launching April 21, 2022 in Japan, Sisters vs. Sisters features the CPU candidates as they fight against the “Buzzoer Phenomenon” which has caused monsters to appear across Planeptune (thanks to Gematsu for the English info).
The reveal trailer features some short gameplay clips, showing off the game’s real-time battle system. Gameplay looks a little different from the previous Neptunia action RPG spinoffs, though there’s isn’t enough footage to get a good read on how it’ll work.
It’s also not obvious whether Hyperdimension Neptunia: Sisters vs. Sisters is a mainline game. Considering just how many spinoff titles there have been over the last eight years, this could just be another game that doesn’t move the main storyline along. Either way, at least it’ll give the four CPU candidates time in the spotlight again.
