Nijisanji, Hololive open auditions for more English VTubers

Nijisanji and Hololive have opened up auditions for more English members, with the latter specifically aimed towards new male VTubers.

This current wave of auditions will end on March 31, 2022 for Nijisanji, with Hololive having no cut-off date. Hololive already had a permanent audition page before this announcement, though that was for both male and female applicants.

Potential applicants for either company must be over 18, and be able to deliver content at least 3 times a week for a year — along with speaking English of course.

These auditions come just a few months after Nijisanji debuted its first male group, though it’s in line with the speed the company usually adds new members.

As for Hololive, this is the first real interest it’s given in starting an English counterpart to the Holostars brand — the audition announcement video was uploaded to the Japanese Holostars YouTube channel.

Expect more VTuber debuts from Nijisanji and Hololive during 2022, with neither company looking like they’ll slow down any time soon.
