The mobile gacha spin-off game The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel – Northern War is now available on Android, iOS, and PC.

As a spin-off from Falcom’s The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel games — and also a spin-off from the anime by the same name — Trails of Cold Steel – Northern War features the Northern Jaegers as they attempt to infiltrate the Erebonian Empire.

Unfortunately, this release has seemingly been machine translated, leading to some weird naming choices and broken descriptions. Not to mention the usual gacha monetisation leading to characters potentially costing more than main games in the franchise.

Thankfully, western players don’t have to wait long before an actual Trails game is released here. Trails Through Daybreak is set to launch on July 5, 2024.
