Zenless Zone Zero gets July release date
HoYoverse has revealed that action RPG gacha Zenless Zone Zero will be releasing for PC, mobile, and PS5 on July 4, 2024.
Currently at a whopping 35 million pre-registrations, players can sign up via the official Zenless Zone Zero website to obtain extra rewards once the game releases.
Unlike the previous two HoYoverse titles, Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail, Zenless Zone Zero goes back to a style similar to Honkai Impact 3rd. Combat is real time, taking place in different arenas where you fight waves of enemies or a boss. However, you now also have the ability to switch between multiple characters on the fly (similar to Genshin.)
Featuring a noticeably different style from other HoYoverse titles — as shown in trailers, everyone in Zenless Zone Zero is expressively animated — it’ll be interesting to see how the game shapes up as part of the company’s ever growing list of live-service releases.
