Samurai Showdown V Special Coming to PS4
Samurai Showdown V was originally released in 2003 as one of the last games to make it to the Neo Geo and was later ported to the PlayStation 2 and Xbox. This game will be re-released for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita and will be based on 2004’s Samurai Showdown V Special.
Among the additions in this version of the game are trophies, online leaderboards as well as the ability to play against opponents around the world in the game’s online multiplayer mode. Players will also have the option of listening to custom BGMs and viewing the game’s artworks in the newly added gallery.
With the release a day away, PlayStation Blog covered the game’s mechanics everything from deflecting attacks to committing suicide. Samurai Showdown V Special will be available starting from the 12th of September for $14,99 as a cross-buy and cross-play title only on the PlayStation Network.
