Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX launches June 24

Merge Games has revealed that Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX will be launching June 24 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch.

It’s been more than 30 years since the original Alex Kidd in Miracle World released for the Master System, with this DX version bringing an updated visual style and extra content.

Some of this can be seen in the “Launch Date Reveal” trailer, including a look at the game’s improved boss battles — it takes more than just a quick rock paper scissors match to beat them this time.

Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX’s new visuals bring the game onto modern platforms without taking away from the original’s charm — though you can still switch back to the old graphic style for a burst of nostalgia.
