Danganronpa 2 now available on mobile, first game on sale

Titled Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Anniversary Edition, the second entry in the Danganronpa series is available now on both Android and iOS.

Danganronpa 2 features a new cast of characters; students from Hope’s Peak Academy who have been stranded on a tropical resort. As you’d expect from a Danganronpa game, this marks the start of a brand new killing game.

New features added in the Anniversary Edition:

・Intimacy Gallery
Intimacy Events have been compiled in gallery form!
Replay your favorite characters and events whenever you want, as many times as you want.

・Character Gallery
Allows players to view character sprites and lines in a gallery.
If you ever get the urge to hear that one line, now you can!

・Ultimate Gallery
A gallery full of promotional illustrations and character sheets from the official art book.

To celebrate the mobile release of Danganronpa 2, Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc has had its price reduced on Android and iOS for a short while.

While no news has been shared on a possible mobile version of Danganronpa V3, the chances of it happening are quite high considering how quickly DR2 released. The real question is whether ports to other systems will be considered in the future. You only need to look at the replies to any official Danganronpa post to see what system people want ports on.
