Evenicle now available on GOG

Alicesoft eroge RPG Evenicle is now available to buy via GOG, making it the first Japanese 18+ title for the service that doesn’t require any external patches.

Publisher MangaGamer already has a number of releases on GOG, though with no explicit content left in — patches created for the Steam releases do work with their GOG counterparts.

Evenicle isn’t the only adult title to recently make its way to GOG, with Subverse also launching for the storefront on the same day.

Despite its initial approach to eroge titles (and Japanese games in general), it seems like GOG is now more open to adding adult titles. In fact, it’s still possible to buy the English version of A Kiss For The Petals – Maidens of Michael there — a game that has been delisted from Steam.
