F-Zero: Maximum Velocity coming to Switch Online Expansion Pack March 29

Nintendo has announced that GBA racer F-Zero: Maximum Velocity will be added to its Switch Online + Expansion Pack service on March 29, 2024.

F-Zero: Maximum Velocity is the 15th GBA hitting Switch Online + Expansion Pack since the service started early 2023. As with other titles, you’ll have access to a few options including display modes and save states.

This isn’t the first F-Zero-related content released by Nintendo over the last year. F-Zero 99 released for the base Switch Online service during 2023, offering another take on the racing franchise.

This could be leading up to a potential new mainline F-Zero title, though a return of the franchise has seemingly been teased since the Wii U with nothing major to show for it.
