Hololive English gets new outfits next month

Cover Corp has announced that each member of HoloMyth, the first generation of English Hololive VTubers, will be getting a new outfit early in May.

The announcement was paired with a teaser image, showing the silhouettes for each VTuber’s new look. It’s pretty clear that Ina is an artist, while Gura is getting the cat ears she’s always wanted.

Calli will be the first to reveal her new outfit on May 3, 11 PM JST, with the rest happening almost every day until Amelia’s reveal on May 8. Then, on May 9, 7 AM JST, HoloMyth will come together for a collaboration stream.

This is “technically” not the first outfit reveal they’ve done, with some cute joke costumes being revealed at the start of this month for April Fools.

It’s hard to believe that Hololive English debuted only seven months ago. Each member has seen explosive growth on YouTube, with Gura already well on her way to three million subscribers. Their success spurred Hololive on to quickly recruit for a second generation of English VTubers, which should make its debut later this year.
