Indivisible from the Developers of Skullgirls on IndieGoGo
Lab Zero, the developer behind Skullgirls, is working on a new title and is asking for funding via Indiegogo. They are asking for a steep sum of $1,500,000 and if they get it in 40 days, 505 Games will provide them the additional $2,000,000 in order to complete development. Because of its budget the game looks absolutely stunning – among the prettiest 2D games to date.
In Indivisible you play as Ajna, a rebellious tomboy, who has the power to absorb certain individuals, called “Incarnations”.
Indivisible will be a side-scrolling action platformer. Along your journey you will collect various weapons and skills that will help you navigate the terrain and find secrets off the beaten path.
Just like another recent platformer RPG-hybrid inspired by Valkyria Profile, each button will be mapped to one of the four members of your party, allowing for seamless combos.
The game will run using the Z-Engine, the engine used to create Skullgirls. In their words the Z-Engine has the most advanced 2D sprite support to date, with streaming of high-res animations, dynamic coloring and real-time lighting.
The music is made by the legendary composer Hiroki Kikuta who is responsible for the soundtracks in the Secret of Mana series and Koudelka.
