Monster collecting RPG Coromon launches in March
Publisher Freedom Games has announced that Coromon will launch for Switch and PC via Steam on March 31, 2022.
Coromon is a monster collecting RPG that aims to emulate the style of older Pokémon games, but with the quality-of-life features you’d expect from a modern title — this includes difficulty levels, something that is surprising absent from Game Freak’s franchise.
You’ll be able to capture over 120 monsters across six zones and cities, and take them into battles with other players online. As with other recent monster collecting RPGs, you’ll also be able to choose from Randomizer and Nuzlocke modes if you’re after a challenge.
A demo is still available via Steam, though it likely wont fully represent the final release due to being last updated in July 2021. Android and iOS versions of Coromon are planned too, though they currently have no release date.
